The 2018 Congress of the International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) organized on 25-29 June in close collaboration with the Presidency of the Tunisian Government and ENA Tunis (National School of Administration), will focus on the theme of Administrative Resilience.
Resilience refers to the capacity of public administration to provide appropriate responses to shocks, risks and disasters of any kinds. It more specifically refers:
- to a distinctive set of values guiding public sector reforms, emphasizing redundancy, adaptive capacity, openness and innovation;
- to the technical capacity of public administrations of managing risks and crises, natural and human;
- to the way governance systems can incorporate environmental concerns and realize sustainable development;
- to the revolutions, transitions and reforms political regimes undergo.
These four strands of resilience studies have been worked out in 30 call-for-papers signed by Professors, IIAS Study Groups and partners https://www.iias-congress2018.org/call-for-papers/
Hereby, we invite you to contribute to this Congress by submitting an abstract in one of these tracks through https://app.oxfordabstracts.com/stages/254/submission
