Edoardo Chiti (1969) is full professor of administrative law at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa.
He graduated, with honors, from the Faculty of Law of the University of Florence and specialized at University College London (LL.M.) and the European University Institute (Ph.D.). He was a researcher and associate professor of administrative law at the University of Salento (2000-2006), then associate professor of European Union law and full professor of administrative law at the University of Tuscia (2006-2022).
His research interests include European administrative law, comparative administrative law and global administrative law.
Among his most representative publications are the monographs The Green Deal. How to build the new Europe, with Dario Bevilacqua (Bologna, Il Mulino, 2024); The right to a communicative community. A comparative investigation on the administrative law of the Church (Milan, Giuffrè, 2019); The military administration (Milan, Giuffrè, 2007); European administrative integration, with Claudio Franchini (Bologna, Il Mulino, 2003); and The European agencies. Unity and decentralization in community administrations (Padua, Cedam, 2002).
