Alessandro Natalini is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Faculty of Law of the Parthenope University in Naples.
He is a component of the Commissione Indipendente per la Valutazione, la Trasparenza e l’Integrità delle Amministrazioni Pubbliche. He has got a PhD in Organization of Public Administration. He taught at Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples and at University of Tuscia of Viterbo. Furthermore, he was Director of Consortium Mipa (1999-2003) and Head Researcher at Istituto Nazionale di Statistica (1996 – 1999). He was member of the Unità per la semplificazione- Presidenza del consiglio dei ministri (2006-2008) of the Nucleo per la semplificazione delle norme e delle procedure-Presidenza del consiglio dei ministri (1999 – 2002) and of Servizio di controllo interno del Ministero del Tesoro, del bilancio e della programmazione (1997 – 2001). He published three monographs and a number of articles and essays on bureaucratic reform, administrative simplification, regulatory impact analysis, e-government and internal controls. He has coordinated numerous research projects. His primary interest fields are bureaucratic reforms, better regulation policies, and capacity building.
