Italian Society for Law and Economics – Call for papers

ITALIAN SOCIETY OF LAW AND ECONOMICS (ISLE)

 

 

 

The Italian Society for Law and Economics welcomes submissions of full papers on any topic regarding the economic analysis of law for its seventh annual conference to be held in Rome (Italy) at the Faculty of Law, Roma Tre University on December 13-14-15, 2012.

 

 

 

On December 13th the Conference will host special sessions in Italian on «Law, Economics and Public Policy in Italy».

 

 

 

On December 14-15th the Conference will host parallel sessions whose topics may include: Bankruptcy, Behavioural Law and Economics, Competition Policy, Corporate Governance, Corporate Law, Criminal Law, Environmental Law and Economics, Family Law and Economics, Intellectual Property, Judicial Decision­?Making, Regulation, Securities Law, Law & Social Norms, Taxation.

 

Plenary sessions will host keynote speeches.

 

 

A draft or completed paper shall be submitted online through our website:

Priority will be given to completed papers.

Important dates to remember:

Proposals must be sent by September 20, 2012

Acceptance of proposals will be communicated by November 2nd, 2012

Edited papers must be sent by November 20, 2012

People from The Board of Directors, the Local Organizing Committee and the Advisory Board will appoint referees and select the papers to be presented at the Conference,

Please note that, as in previous years, both Italian and English submissions are welcome.

The program will guarantee at least one English session for each time slot.

Selected papers accepted on topics like Economics of Justice, Judicial Decision­?Making, Criminal Law are eligible for publication on a Special issue of the International Review of Law and Economics.
